Build Your Own Candle with Chez Lapin

In-person Workshop

​

Join us at Stone + Sparrow Studio for a candle vessel and holder workshop! We will guide you through the basics of hand building ceramic containers so you can make your very own filled candle to keep or give to a loved one.

 

What's included:

  • 2.5 hrs of instruction and working time

  • All materials, tools, glazes and firings

  • Custom fill of up to 16oz scented candle by Chez Lapin

  • Light refreshments

  • Loads of fun making your very own piece(s) of art!

 

Come in to the studio for some brief instruction in ceramic hand-building techniques. Next, you will get assisted working time to build your very own ceramic vessel and/or candle holders. After finishing your perfect piece(s) we will head downstairs to Chez Lapin and sniff to your hearts content, picking out your favorite candle scent. We'll take care of the hard part and glaze, fire and fill your pieces so they are ready to take home before the holidays.

​​Making with Consistency: How to Throw Repeated Forms

Online Workshop

An exclusive workshop, in partnership with The Ceramic School, where you will learn the keys to creating pottery pieces that look and feel consistently perfect every time.

  • Planning and Preparation: Learn how to set up your workspace and prepare your materials for consistent results.

  • Making Techniques: Dive into the hands-on process of wheel throwing with precision, ensuring each piece is uniform.

By the end of this workshop, you’ll have the skills and confidence to create repeated forms  Whether you’re aiming to produce a matching set for your home, enhance your pottery skills, or replicate a beloved design, this workshop is your key to success.
